Who is qualified to be listed as a BrainTrust Subject Matter Expert?

  • A certain level of professional expertise
  • Ability to present their viewpoints and knowledge effectively in wrting and discusssion
  • Looks for consensus
  • Strives for orderly communication processes
  • What is the distinction between an SME an a Champion?
    • SMEs are Individuals who add insightful direction and key recommendations to Initiatives and IntelliConference Series.
    • Champions are individuals who advocate for an approach, idea, and/or a new possibility.
  • Do we expect SMEs to agree with OTNA market development strategy and plans for the outcomes of Initiaves and IntelliConferences?

What do we want BrainTrust SMEs to do?

  • Participate in Subject Pages
    • OTNA will soon maintain public and private side Subject Pages on subjects like Electricification, Regulations, Labor, specfic loactions or regions, shortlines, (an infiniate number of subjects)
  • Maintain their public user page
    • OTNA will supply each SME a publically accessible user page where they can share their views and publish their white papers, etc
  • OTNA maintains a private page for each SME where they can share organizing strategy and issue policy with OTNA Organizers, Facilitators, Directors and other BT SMEs
  • We want to enroll SMEs in being pro-active in defining challenges and uncovering breakthroughs

Strategy

  • Intitially all BT SMEs will only be required to pay as OTNA Members which is $200 per year.
    • We may provide scholarships to early BT SMEs for purposes of getting the BT SME page populated
  • Eventually their will be an additional fee to be listed in the BT SME
    • What do they get for this?
      • Recognition
      • A place to keep their campaigns organized
      • A place where their campaigns can be linke with other campaigns
