Learning Guide

OnTrackNorthAmerica teaches a level of thinking, planning, and investing now needed to reconceive individual projects and companies as coherent elements of efficient industrial systems. We call this expanded design frame “Civilization Engineering.” Thousands have contributed to the understandings, principles, methodologies, and tools we introduce here. We invite you to learn and contribute. As you read, please share your insights and questions via the Contact Us button on the bottom of every page and menu bar. Once you have registered as a Member, you can initiate threads via the Discussion tab at the top of each page.

Reading all the essays in this curriculum will take about an hour. (Understandings, Principles, and Methodologies)

To begin with a 12-minute reading session, we suggest:

  1. Collaboration Will Take Us Where Competition Can’t
  2. Collaborative Industrial Optimization
  3. Promise, Ethics, and Principles

Reading the VitalRail Hub and About VitalRail for folks interested in how the rail industry will contribute to sustainable economic prosperity is a 5-30 minute learning opportunity, depending on where you end your reading.

If you align with the ideas we share in one or more essays, you can submit an endorsement quote for public or private attribution.
